Organization History:

Our nonprofit was founded in 2021 by two passionate women, Myself and my best friend, driven by a shared vision of empowering our community. From the very beginning, we were committed to helping those in need, focusing on women’s empowerment and supporting the homeless and struggling families.  Together, we serve homeless veterans, the broader homeless community, and families in need, offering food, clothing, and support to help them move forward. Along the way, four more dedicated women joined us, forming a strong, all-female team. Together, we work as volunteers, driven by our mission rather than profit. Our focus is on creating lasting change, helping individuals regain their stability and confidence, and fostering a supportive environment. We pride ourselves on being independent, strong women dedicated to making a difference in our community.

Core Values 

1. Compassion: We approach every individual with empathy, understanding, and respect, recognizing the unique challenges they face and the trauma they may have experienced. 

2. Empowerment: We believe in empowering homeless individuals, veterans, families in need and domestic violence survivors to regain control over their lives through personalized support, individualized goal setting, and skill-building opportunities. 

3. Collaboration: We actively collaborate with other organizations, government agencies, and community stakeholders to develop innovative and effective solutions to homelessness, leveraging collective resources and expertise. 

4. Advocacy: We advocate for systemic change at local, regional, and national levels, working towards policies and programs that address the root causes of homelessness and create long-term solutions. 

5. Accountability: We are committed to transparency, integrity, and accountability in our operations, ensuring that donations and resources are utilized responsibly and effectively to maximize impact.
